# A quick introduction ![[alex-toyota-japan-public.jpg]] Hey I’m Alex, a former professional software developer who built projects for finance, real estate, agriculture, transport and education. These days I live in northern Western Australia with my beautiful wife and work as an Automotive Electrician for Volvo Trucks with a passion for electro mobility. I’m also (very slowly) building a tool company called [Northern Computer Co](https://northerncomputer.co/?ref=alexmills.au) (formally Rectangle Tool Co), to help technicians like me with our work. This site will be thoughts, experiences, and updates on the projects I'm working on. A traditional blog doesn't follow my messy thought process so here it all is, thanks to Obsidian.
